Naomi Shane Fernandes is an Indian born multidisciplinary artist based in Canada. She works across painting, installation, animation, illustration, block printing, textile art, and writing.
Her practice is rooted in community, culture, and memory. She is interested in how art functions in public and collective spaces, drawing from socially engaged traditions. Moving between large-scale public works and intimate studio processes, her work explores storytelling and how it enriches the human experience.
Naomi is the founder of VADDO, an artist collective that supports collaboration and community among local artists.
